Khyam Harewood

The Khyam Harewood features 6 berths, front and back doors and a host of other features making it a true classic with all of the benefits of the latest Khyam technology. The Khyam Harewood also features a fully sewn in 150D polyester groundsheet.

It is recommend to use the tailored SPS Groundsheets which will protect your integral groundsheet from sharp stones and also keep it clean and dry.

Features - for Khyam Harewood

Weather Weave:

From the moment the yarn is spun, the new ‘weather weave’ process is implemented. A fine oil based solution is applied to the yarn which allows a much closer weave to be introduced.

This closer weave enhances the tare and rip qualities of the fabric. The weaving and dyeing processes are followed by applying three fine layers of polyurethane coating which enhance both colour fastness and waterproof qualities of the material.

Rapidex Rigidome System: The Ridgidome pole system builds on the benefits of the Flexidome Khyam Harewood system allowing the size of the tents they support to be substantially increased. Combining the use of flexible solid fiberglass poles with robust lightweight aluminium poles, the Ridgidome pole system is ideal for larger family tents.

The Flexible fiberglass poles used in the roof section of all Ridgidomes, coupled with the angled auto joints, create a much more user friendly shape allowing increased headroom within the tent. The addition of secondary manual joints, mean that larger family tents can be erected easily in 2 stages similar to conventional frame tents but a whole lot quicker.
