Conway Trailer Tents
In 2002 the the rights to manufacture a new range of folding campers under the renowned
Conway name was aquired by Pennine Leisure Ltd. Today dual branding of the Company’s products has resulted in both
the Pennine and Conway names being incorporated within the newly formed Pennine Group.
Strictly speaking there is a difference between a trailer tent and a folding camper. The
folding camper has a caravan type chassis and bottom half with a host of conveniences such as a fridge, electric,
water etc.
The top half of the folding camper typically folds out from the camper and can be put up very quickly, although
times differ between manufacturers.
A trailer tent is generally more basic. The trailer element is more for storage of the tent part and most of the
living space is outside of the trailer. However both types are often referred to as trailer tents.

A large number of people choose a Conway folding camper or trailer tent because they would prefer to have a few
