Bailey Olympus 464

The Bailey Olympus 464 is the smallest of three 4 berth caravans in the Olympus range but still has the convenience of a fixed double bed. The rear bedroom has en-suite WC / Shower room. Whilst it does not have the extra room of the 504 or the 534 it does not require such a large car to tow it.

The headroom on the Bailey Olympus 464 has been has increased to 6'5" so there is an instant feeling of extra space and the lockers have been designed in such a way to take advantage of this to the full.

The Alu-Tech shell free's up space at the front of the Olympus to increase the size of the seating area which now makes it possible to place a TV on the window shelf.

The Bailey Olympus range also has an outstanding level of standard fitments, that include an AL-KO ATC trailer control system, microwave, 107ltr fridge, 4 burner gas hobs, large capacity sink, Radio/CD/MP3 player with dual cone speakers for superior sound, low voltage LED lighting system

Having just purchased a Bailey Olympus 464 and used it once, doing around 80 miles, we were delighted, until I got it home and had time to measure the nose-weight. With just the basic needs that we took to collect the van and have 2 days "trial", the nose weight is a staggering 118kgs. The max allowed by Baileys is 100 kgs, and the max allowed by my Brink towbar equiped Skoda Octavia 140 bhp is 75 kgs. How ridiculous is that? How the hell am I to balance such an incredibly heavy front end, and not have an hours repacking on arrival at a destination - that is if the rear bed space will hold everythig needed to lessen the noseweight. No wonder the spec includes an Alco ATC. I`m going to need it to stop the pendulum effect. NOT PLEASED!
